Appetite Suppressant

The first thing I want to say about appetite suppressants is to avoid them if you want to have permanent natural weight loss. They are counter-productive. This is one of the things that burns me up quite a bit when I see it.

Unless there are extreme circumstances or if you are an athlete, bodybuilder or model and your profession depends on it, try to avoid them.

So what can you do if your appetite is killing you and making it so hard for you to do what you know you need to do to lose weight? Like in the afternoon when you are mentally tired and crave a sweet stimulant. Or when it is nighttime when a sweet snack would be oh so good. I’ve been there and done that. In fact, I remember times when I was lifting weights that my appetite became voracious. I needed food now and now was always.

First, understand and find the source of your appetite. Then you can do something about it.

Ghrelin the Hunger Hormone. Learn how to control this. It is amazingly easy.

Leptin, the “I’m" Full Hormone.You want to control appetite? Want to be able to have certainty that you can attain your natural weight loss goal. This the one of the anti-appetite suppressants tools that I use.

High Cortisol Levels. Cortisol is another hormone that is gaining a lot of popularity. Or maybe I should say, notoriety. Read “High Cortisol Levels” so you can see how it plays havoc on your appetite.

Meal frequency is always the old standby that is the easiest to do! The trick is to plan and prepare and know what works for you. This one step alone can help you lose weight in addition to helping you with appetite and eliminating the need for an appetite suppressant.

Fiber supplements is an often overlooked tool to replace using an appetite suppressant. Soluble fiber in particular, slows the digestive process a degree and increases satiation. Fiber also reduces the surge of insulin which also can contribute to hunger and cravings.

Lack of Sleep and Appetite Control. Get too little sleep and your cravings for all the wrong foods will shoot through the roof.

Mineral Supplements to replace the appetite suppressant. Minerals are an important and completely overlooked secret for natural weight loss. Without minerals in sufficient quantity, balance and quality will not allow your cells to get hydrated. When your cells are hydrated by using mineral supplements, your cells use your fat for fuel! Your fat then melts off your body.

Spiking insulin levels is another reason. insulinInsulin is a very important hormone that is used to drive nutrients into your cells. When we eat foods that drives insulin up we go into a temporary state of hyperglycemia. Shortly after this, however, the insulin levels will drop down very low and this is called hypoglycemia.

This is a result of the insulin shunting as much blood sugar into the muscles and out of the blood and then leaving a condition of too little blood sugar. This will cause a severe drop in fuel for the muscle cells and this can cause voracious hunger as well.

Having said this, there are those, such as fitness competitors, athletes such as wrestlers, actors, models or just the average person who needs to fit into a wedding dress who could use some help. There are tools to assist you in choosing appetite suppressants that will not harm you or make you a wreck.
