From listening to people, it appears that most people are finding that abdominal fat is actually like an alien life form that snuck into their midsections in the middle of the night and won’t go away.

abdominal fat is a whole section of weight loss myths I can just go to town with. But I’ll go over the basics here.

Foods That Speed MetabolismX

When you are talking about abdominal, you are talking about two types of fat that are actually very different in their behavior. And the ONLY way of getting rid of belly fat permanently is by restoring your health. Period. As you read on you will see why.


Two Kinds of Fat

There is fat right under the skin. This is called subcutaneous fat. This is the fat that is seen the most.


Visceral Fat

The other kind is not under the skin but stuffed within the abdominal cavity. It starts to grow tightly around the liver like barnacles on a hull. Then around the stomach, so on and so forth. This fat is not seen. It is internal. It turns your liver white from a deep rich red.

It puts pressure on nerves, it creates toxicity, it leaches acid directly to the surrounding organs, and it also acts as a fat storing gland. By this I mean that it has been discovered that this internal fat called Visceral Fat secretes hormones that cause even more hormones and also insatiable hunger. Horrible stuff. It kills you. I mean that literally.
