The best exercise to lose weight can be divided into two categories.

One category increases antiaging, muscle building and fat burning hormones and reduces the fat storing and aging hormones.

The other category increases oxygen uptake into your cells.

The best exercise to lose weight need to do one or both. Better yet, you should have a program that has a mis of the two.

Let me elaborate a bit on exercise and what we want our exercise to do. If you look at an Olympic marathon runner and you look at an Olympic gymnast, you are looking at two fit people at an elite level. But one looks old, weak and emaciated and the other looks young, virile and ready for action.

The is the difference between anabolic and catabolic exercises. BOTH can cause fat loss. But one does so by breaking down and making your body older. The other does so by building it up and making it younger.

So when someone wonders about all those many books and videos on exercise I always tell them to look away. All our actions should be directed by the destination we want to attain.

So, back to the quesion. What is the best exercise to lose weight. They are High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) and Explosive Weight Training Exercises. When both are done in short bursts - 20 - 40 minutes in length, they both cause the same amount of fat burning as low intensity for 3 - 5 hours of exercise. But they also cause muscle growth, immunity building, hormone enhancing, and antiaging effects.

To make things even more simple, the exercise you do is not as important as whether they fall into the category of HIIT and explosive weight lifting. The main question for HIIT is, does the intensity go alternate between going through the roof and dropping to practically nothing over and over again? If so then good. Whatever exercise you do that does this, do it.

For explosive weight lifting, are you using resistance exercise? Are you increasing the amount of weight you are lifting over time? Are you muscles attaining muscular failure at the end of each set? Are your movements including some explosiveness? If so then you are in this category of exercise.

Are there better specific exercises than others? Absolutely! Doing an exercise that is whole body or uses several major groups of muscles like a squat or a squat with a shoulder press is one example.

But if you get all your exercise meeting these standards, then you start to see great changes in your body. The shape will change, and you will feel better. Also, you spend less time and get the best results. In my weight loss exercise programs section I have listed videos that I recommend that follow these guides. I have seen many and these are the one's that meet this standard.
