Childhood Obesity: Alloxan
"Childhood obesity and Alloxan and diabetes are connected."
Alloxan is a chemical that is injected into rats to cause them to become diabetic. That is how studies of diabetes are performed. Alloxan, however, is also produced when flour is chemically bleached. White bread for example, is chemically bleached so the bread will contain alloxan. When you look at a lot of the foods and snacks that children are fed, almost all of them contain bleached flour! Doughnuts, crackers, breads, hamburger patties, french-toast, cereals, chips, etc all contain bleached flour and therefore alloxan. Almost all foods marketed to children contain bleached flour. These foods are the cheapest foods and also toxic. Coaching
