"Healthy Weight Loss Tips: Learn What Food Does To You... Not How MUCH To Eat..." Most of the people visiting this website are people who have already, made several attempts to diet, exercise, or study natural health methods to help themselves. The result? Confusion. I try to help people cut through the confusion and see the whole picture... thus the "holistic" approach. But one of the most common confusions is, "What the BLEEP do I eat?" I remember thinking this when I finished my hundredth or so diet book. And I know I echo this common frustration in people's minds. In the beginning I focused on people who were already so familiar with the holistic lifestyle. They had read many books, done retreats, cleanses, etc. This was second nature to them. They just needed a few adjustments to get the results they wanted. But over time, there were more and more everyday people who just had no clue where to start. And you know what? In the free initial consults, I am finding more and more of these everyday people are finding the site. Their weight loss struggles come only and ONLY from the CALORIE mind set. They are not eating a lot, but what they are eating is so damaging to the metabolism. And all they needed... The ONLY thing they needed was to know "WHAT THE BLEEP TO EAT!" They already had no problem getting on a treadmill. Exercise was an easy thing. Do it and its done for the day. But food was an all day affair! They choices they were making was destroying all the benefit of their workouts! And worst of all, they were following all the rules they they were told. Here's the deal... 1000 calories of beer and donuts is not the same as 1000 calories of fresh clean food like veggies, lean protein, high fiber complex carbohydrates, etc... So calories are not calories are not calories! And THAT leads to the next question... "Then what do I eat?" From the first edition of my book to the second that was the MAIN focus. It wasn't enough to say this was bad and that was good. It really needed to be spelled out exactly what to buy, what a meal should look like, how much of each is healthy, etc. I created a section in it called, "Eating For Energy." I found out that people didn't need a new shiny object to chase as the magic answer. What people needed was the basics. And the basics are so hard to find. The USDA food pyramid has been altered so much and is unrecognizable now. But even in the beginning it was designed by the food industry to basically tell people, "this is what you should BUY." So if you have my book, take that section and find out what steps you can take to implement all of it. Many people will be able to lose weight again just by getting that one section implemented. It is not about cleanses or strange unrecognizable food. It is about understanding what different food groups do to your body. There are 4 different types of carbs I outline. 2 very important kinds of fats. 2 Kinds of fruit groups, when to eat, how much to eat, how to adjust the portions so accelerate your metabolism, etc. If you don't have my book, you should get it only for that one section alone. People have not changed. The environment has changed. And it has changed so drastically you need new rules to be healthy in the modern world. The old rules worked at that time because food was so different that time. There is no accident that people not only more overweight now than ever. They are more sick than ever.
