Heart Rate Work OutputThis is another test that I cannot find anyone else using. This is a measure of how much work your body can do at or under a certain heart rate. If this work output is increasing, you are increasing your body’s ability to lose weight. If it is staying the same or it is decreasing, then you are losing your ability to lose weight. Work Output of Fit People
Measuring how much work a person can do while staying at or under a certain heart rate is another very good measure of fitness. Fit people will be able to do a lot more work while keeping their heart rate low.1234 Let Me Use Myself As An Example:
I am not a good jogger. I am a sprinter and power-type athlete. When I jogged before, to get to a heart rate of 120 BPM I had to run at 3 MPH. At my power output of 3 MPH, my heart was beating at 120 BMP to give my cells more oxygen and nutrients. After training more, I had to run at 12 MPH to get to a heart rate of 120 BPM. My work output went up 400%. I was able to travel 4 times farther within the same amount of time while staying under the heart rate. It is a 400% increased efficiency of oxygen usage. Better Gauge of Fitness
This is a better gauge of fitness. It will also mean a greater capacity and ability for my body to use fat to create cellular energy. An Analogy
An analogy is your car and gas pedal. If you hold your gas pedal in the same place you can get a certain speed that your car will travel at. If that car got more efficient it would go faster while supplying the same amount of gas. Subjectively speaking, I know that I am breathing much less now when I run than before. Before I was breathing faster and harder to do less work! So breathing and oxygen input is not the same thing as oxygen use.
Through the exercise principles, the sleep principles and the nutrition principles you will learn in the Metabolism Makeover, your ability to do more with less physical effort will skyrocket. The funny thing is that you will notice it in surprising points during your day. You will have to lift something and it will be a lot lighter. Or you will realize that at a certain point, you used to be very exhausted but now are not exhausted anymore. Also, you will notice that you are more mentlly focused than you used to be. Important Indicator of Health and Fitness
So the heart rate work output is a very important indicator of health and fitness. If these two improve, your ability to lose fat is also increasing. Extreme workouts don’t always make this happen. Through the diet, exercise and lifestyle principles I lay out in the “Metabolism Makeover,” you will see your recovery change and it will feel wonderful! Metabolism Makeover
To learn more about my method and how you can use it to help your weight loss, it is called the Metabolism Makeover.
