How often do I drink the juice?

by Kimberly
(CA)

In the fasting, detox phase how often do I drink the juice throughout the day?

==============

When juicing, there are only a few rules when it comes to how often.

Stay full constantly and keep the sugar level low.

I find it very arbitrary to tell any person who is not an athlete precisely how much liquid to take.

What has helped my clients apply staying full constantly is to still look at a liquid fast as a breakfast lunch and dinner deal but instead of eating solid foods, to consume liquid raw foods.

So you can plan for those times of day.

In addition to that, I always want you to hydrate in between meals. So for that, I suggest that you take a juiced drink or blended drink with you in a container through the day and sip on it.

The one thing I see on a consistent basis with clients is that they always tend to err on the side of consuming too little. It is almost unconscious. There is a kind of brain washing effect of connecting losing weight with eating less or not eating too much.

I break this connection as thoroughly as I can.

Instead of eating too much or too little, I coach on being able to feel your body's needs and messages and PREVENT hunger. I want someone to feel full as consistently as possible. The difference is that I want them to feel full on substances that are Micro-nutrient dense. Not macro-nutrient dense. Micronutrients are vitamins, minerals, trace-nutrients and enzymes.

These 4 items are what the modern populations are deficient in as a whole and restoring these four components of a diet will create a "miracle" resurgence in health and well-being in an entire population.

So back to your question, consume as much as you can and prevent getting hungry.

Also keep in mind that hunger and craving are two different things. They are not synonyms. A person can be stuffed and still crave a particular food.

This can be troublesome. So sometimes it is best for some people to phase into the juice fast. To slowly phase out solid cooked foods.

The last thing to remember is that exercise has to be aerobic only during this time. There are rare exceptions but try and keep it aerobic by using the guides on my "Best Exercise To Lose Weight" page.

I hope this helps.
