How to cure Hemiplegic Migraine
by Gayle
(UK)
My friend gets multiple Hemiplegic Migraines. She is on two drugs, one is unlicenced in the uk and the other makes her feed nauseous all the time so she's also lost a lot of weight.
Each migraine can make her ill for about a week. In the last 2 months, she has been hemiplegic for 25 days. So it's quite an unusual case.
She is mid 40's and is a GP herself so she is very caught up in the 'only medicines can help'. Any ideas on things I could suggest to her?
BTW she has a mother with dementia - over which, she gets highly stressed. I personally think that her attacks are 'mother' related. Your thoughts would be much appreciated.
Hello Gayle,
First, I am sorry about your friend suffering from such a severe affliction.
Migraines and all the related conditions to it, are one of those symptoms that come from a confluence of factors.
Sometimes it is as simple as subluxation. Sometimes it is a hormone imbalance together with toxicity.
The first thing I would to is to check the basics. Check for subluxation, amount of rest, hidden toxins in the diet. If she is open to it, we can do the Free Consult to go over the Metabolic Assessment Questionnaire.
I hope that gives you some direction.
