I had a hysterectomy with ovaries removed and a few years later a thyroidectomy. I gradually gained 70 lbs over the next several years and have not been able to get rid of it . I have trie every diet out there and need a lifestyle change. My accupunturist says I have addrenal exhaustion on top of it. My Dr says I have insulin resistance. I just want to loose the wait and get some energy. I work 50+ hours a week. I am 57 . I struggle with insomnia and sleep apnea.
Thank you

Hello Dee
I apologize for the delay in my
response.
I am so sorry for the surgery. I
wish we had met prior to that.
To answer your questions...
The thyroid is the only gland that
produces the thyroid hormones so
without the thyroid, supplementa-
tion is needed.
From experience, one needs to
experiment on what natural supple-
ment works best for them.
Ok if you have adrenal fatigue
(which seems so since you have
insomnia) and you have insulin
resistance, you will not be able
to lose weight with regular
diet and exercise.
I am not sure if you bought my
bookor not.
The sequence you need to do is
to...
Get your adrenals recovered first
before anything.
Adrenal fatigue and excess cortisol
CAUSE insulin resistance.
Insulin resistance, force your body
to use sugar rather than fat for
energy.
once adrenal fatigue is addressed,
will find it easier.
I always recommend to everyone
to get an initial consult.
It is free and won't last forever.
I can better understand your
issues by talking to you one-on-one.
I also email you a Metabolic Assess-
ment Questionnaire to be more
laser focused on any other possible
fat and energy blockers you have.
