If you are doing aerobic exercise because of adrenal fatigue, how does that impact the hormones as opposed to HIIT?
I know HIIT boosts fat burning hormones, does aerobics affect this too or just oxygenation?
======
If your adrenals are stressed and you have too much cortisol, doing a lot of intense exercise will cause more cortisol to be produced or prolong the length of time cortisol is in the blood.
So doing aerobic exercise give you the benefit of oxygenation and all that exercise does and also heals your adrenals faster but without stressing your body.
It is a common practice today for elite endurance athletes to train in this manner. They switch to low intensity aerobic levels to recuperate and then switch back to high intensity.
If a person is already very fit and recovers very fast from stress then they can and should do HIIT, high intensity interval training, plyometrics and resistance training to keep the body anabolic and fat burning. Those are the three most anabolic types of exercises.
