Juice Diet for
Natural Weight Loss

A Juice Diet can be one component of an effective weight loss method. I don't recommend using a juice diet as the sole component of your natural weight loss. Doing so will eventually slow the metabolism down and you will fall back into the same trap. But when used as part of a comprehensive program on the Metabolism Makeover, it is one of the essential tools I use to reset the metabolism for long-term weight loss.

This section of my site is meant to be a resource for the many ways a juicing diet is used for weight loss method and also to give information about juicing for weight loss in general.


Juice Diet for Weight Loss

Personally, I love juicing and the results in my clients are amazing.

There are so many benefits to juicing when it comes to natural health and wellness. But for this site I am focusing on healthy, natural and permanent weight loss and how a juice diet works to melt fat off your body and keep it off. It is easy to get off focus with juicing for weight loss because there are so many health applications.

Juicing for weight loss incorporates juicing in different ways. In other words, there are different levels of a juicing diet.

Three Levels of Juicing for Weight Loss


1) Juice Fast

This is where only fresh raw, organic liquids, and/or foods that are 90 - 100 percent water content, are consumed. This will be mainly freshly juiced vegetables and/or combined with vegetable broths. (I will get into vegetable broths in a bit). In my Metabolism Makeover method, I use a Juice Fast to do a deep detox of the fluids in the body. A detox is necessary for almost everyone who cannot keep their weight off.

2) Juicing as Part of a Raw Food Diet

In this phase, I use a raw food diet, together with a specific and tailored exercise and fitness program for you to cause the greatest natural weight loss and fat loss in a client. This is usually done after a Juice Fast.

If you have been overweight for a while, then your nervous system has been trained, or wired, to use sugar for energy rather than body fat. My goal with the Metabolism Makeover is not just to lose weight. It is to change the way the metabolism uses energy so it is using body fat rather than blood sugar for energy.

A juice fast together with proper changes in exercise and lifestyle can reset the system to use fat for energy but juicing with a raw Food Diet done together will condition the nervous system to keep using fat and not only sugar.


3) Juicing as Part of Your Lifestyle for Weight Maintenance.

When a person has lost all the weight they want to lose and the metabolism is reset, they may want to go back to eating the cooked foods again. This is rare because the foods they used to love no longer taste good. They now taste toxic and harsh. Also they learn from the Metabolism Makeover book about the effect of toxic substances in many foods they used to eat.

Regardless, they have a new metabolism that reacts differently. It is more resilient and resistant to getting fat. It takes far less effort to keep fat off and it if comes back on, it is so much easier to take it off.


Fastest Way to Lose Weight

Juicing with exercise and lifestyle adjustments to match your health and fitness is the fastest way to lose weight without losing muscle.

The fastest way to lose weight naturally and by boosting your health is to go in a liquid, high mineral, high enzyme diet. This comprises juices and broths.

If you have not been able to lose weight there are only two problems your body is having, it is not hydrated at the cellular level and there are health imbalances preventing weight loss. One of the most powerful health imbalances is a Hormone Imbalance.


What Do I do if juicing is too hard to do when I have to go to work?

Here is what you do. When you juice, there is pulp.

If what you do is get the pulp and put it in a saucepan, put water in it and boil it for 5 minutes and then turn off the heat. When it cools down, siphon it into a water bottle with a large opening.

Then put it into the fridge if you want it chilled.

The pulp has lost a lot of minerals. Minerals are carbon based and do not become inactive with heat. So they stay in the pulp.

Sara Ding has a website dedicated to the health benefits of juicing and it is a high quality site with very good research. What is the Best Juicer for a Juice Diet?

There are three kinds of juicers. I go over these three categories of juicers and in "Best Juicer"

Juice Diets

There are many juice diets I have read and experienced. Many are just fads. In fact for most, with the new wave of commercial juicers becoming available, juicing has simply turned in to another way to get their sugar fix!

I have written about various diets I have seen people on. None of them have caused permanent weight loss. At best, it provided relief for the body to recover from stress. Since the body and metabolism are not reconditioned to burn fat rather than energy for fuel, the weight comes back on.

Also when I get a new client I ask what they have tried and I see many of these juice diets.

Just on the basis of basic science and basic nutrition, your body does best when it is given a variety of different sources of nutrition.

Needless, to say, I do not recommend using these juice diets for weight loss. These are the juice diets I have seen:

Grapefruit Juice Diet
Hollywood Juice Diet
Lemon Juice Diet
Cranberry Juice Diet
Vegetable Juice Diet
