Lose Weight Quickly with Exercise

If you lose weight quickly with exercise, then you want to make sure that the diet AND exercise are aligned with your life and your health situation.

Exercise has its share of myths and misguided advice.

The first thing to understand about exercise is why it is being done.


Why are you Trying to Lose Weight Quickly With Exercise?

If it is done to get fit, or if it is done to train for a sport or to lower blood pressure, the exercise should match that particular goal.

So for example, if you are trying to lose weight quickly with fitness training with a program like P90X or Chalene Extreme, do not look at weight loss. You should expect plateaus of weight loss because in getting fit, you have to gain more muscle. If you don’t you won’t make it on programs like that.

What I am talking about here on my site and my consulting, is fat loss and weight loss exercises. They are exercises designed specifically for this. That is not to say other great things will not happen from exercise. Many other wonderful results occur but my target is weight loss and if an exercise does not help a person do this naturally and healthily, then I am not interested in it.

The other thing to know about losing weight quickly with exercise is that exercise does not make you lose fat. Sleep makes you lose fat.


Lose Weight Quickly With Exercise:

Hormones are a Key Factor

Exercise starts a chain reaction that changes the body’s chemistry. Specifically, it starts to release powerful hormones that cause muscle to be built and fat to be burned. So when you are trying to lose weight quickly with exercise, the thing to look at is what exercise will cause fat loss and condition the nervous system to keep burning fat and not revert to old patterns.

Exercise starts one part of the fat burning cycle. Rest covers the second part of it. Nutrition covers the third.

But when we are strictly speaking of losing weight quickly with exercise, exercise has to be at least 2 parts: Stimulation and regeneration. If these are unbalanced, then fat loss stops. Even worse, fat can start building.

Keep It In Perspective

The last point here is when a person tries to lose weight quickly with exercise, I notice a tendency to make the exercise the central part of their life and there is a loss of perspective on its place in their life. I don’t recommend it being the central part of a person’s life unless they are a professional athlete because it almost always leads to overtraining.

The whole point here is that when you do go on a diet and when you embark on an exercise program, make them complement a full life. I see it too often when either a diet or an exercise program spins a person out of control. That is not a solution.

Chose an exercise you like for aerobic and choose one for anaerobic. Use the "Hearat Rate Recovery Test" which is the monitor that shows you your improvement in fitness.

Keep It In Perspective

The last point here is when a person tries to lose weight quickly with exercise, I notice a tendency to make the exercise the central part of their life and there is a loss of perspective on its place in their life. I don’t recommend it being the central part of a person’s life unless they are a professional athlete because it almost always leads to overtraining.

The whole point here is that when you do go on a diet and when you embark on an exercise program, make them complement a full life. I see it too often when either a diet or an exercise program spins a person out of control. That is not a solution.

Chose an exercise you like for aerobic and choose one for anaerobic. Use the “Fitness Test” to determine your fitness level.

When you exercise to improve your fitness level, and also to rebalance your “fat- storing” and “fat-burning hormones,” with a diet that hydrates your cells, you reverse the age of your metabolism.


Lose Weight Quickly with Exercise Guides

Exceptions to the Rules: Weak Glands and Liqud Diet

There are exceptions that I am not yet sure how to put on this website at the current time. When I get a client, I go through several interviews to develop a plan for them that starts at the most basic departure from health as far as excess weight is concerned. Things like getting them to sleep more, to eat a large breakfast, consume more hydrating foods, and an adequate intake of good fats, etc. One of those things that I look for are weak glands.

So, for example, if the adrenals are weak, the anaerobic exercise is not allowed until the adrenals are doing better. If the liver and ovaries are the weak glands then anaerobic and intense exercise as outlined in "Best Exercise to Lose Weight" is recommended to stimulate fat-burning hormones.

The other exception is during a juice fast or liquid diet. Just do really gentle exercise with low heart rate. The juice fast is to get the nervous system rewired to use less sugar and more of the other nutrients. The only way other nutrients can be used is if oxygen is present. So keep the intensity low on the liquid diet. This is very counter-intuitive. Most people are punching up the intensity to lose weight quickly with exercise. They are setting themselves up for very temporary results.
