Lose Weight Quickly Without Exercise
If you want to lose weight quickly without exercise, that’s okay. For some people I put that as part of the program. Cellular hydration is still the key. In fact, for many clients I have them cut back their exercise to light and gentle walking or something like Hatha Yoga. Many people have adrenals that are stressed and weakened. When I find this in my initial questionnaires, I do start the person on a very light exercise routine, and I also do not get into exercise for a month or two. The person who has weakened their adrenals has a lot of healing to do. So the sleep diet and a hydration diet is the main thing I focus on. The primary target with this person is to get their energy levels stable and to eliminate hunger. They lose weight with this alone. As I wrote about in

, exercise does not burn fat. It never has and it never will. Exercise starts a chain reaction within the body that causes fat to be broken down for energy and this happens most when you sleep. It also happens during the entire recuperation period. The more intense the exercise session, the more the person needs to rest. What occurs with people that have severely weakened adrenals is their body is over-trained and over-worked. It is not allowed to recover. Without recovery, the fat cannot be burned or broken down. So this type of person is exercising harder and locking down the fat more and more. They tend to be big coffee drinkers, constantly hungry and in a rush all the time. They do not rest. Mentally they are not at rest either. There are emotional swings and emotional stress as well. These people will lose weight quickly without exercise because they need to recuperate for the body to let go of fat. With these people, the body is releasing a lot of cortisol. Cortisol, when released consistently, breaks lean muscle mass down, it stores fat, raises blood pressure and increases blood sugar. It also causes belly fat. But there is an insidious nature of cortisol when it comes to natural weight loss. It creates lower quality sleep. This is another reason this person needs to lose weight quickly without exercise rather than with exercise. They need rest badly. Deep sleep is where the most fat is burned and the more deep sleep you can get, the more fat you will burn (of course, while using all the other natural guidelines outlined here and in my program). There is nothing wrong with an adrenaline high. BUT you must also be experiencing the relaxation highs as well. Deep relaxation and recuperation is just a good part of health. It also improves productivity and makes one happier when they are well rested. When this finally hit home for me, I reorganized my life to get more sleep and cut back my coffee intake severely. It made all the difference. When the adrenals are healed then anaerobic exercise can be incorporated again. But recuperation needs to be part of the exercise plan in order to keep the weight and fat off. With the hydration principles and consuming foods that hydrate, you can lose weight quickly without exercising. With the liquid diet or juice fast, it is even better that exercise be limited to gentle walking for a half-hour or more just to increase oxygenation of the cells.
