Obesity Help


"Obesity Help Is Sorely Needed
For The Future Of Our Health"

 

 

 

 

The level of obesity in the US has just gotten ridiculous. Shows like, "The Biggest Loser" are so indicative of the state of health in this country.

This has to change.

Please watch the video and see what the Surgeon General of The US is saying on public television about obesity in the US.

 

The cost to all of us in many different levels will continue to rise and reach astronomical levels if this trend is not reversed.

The fact that the number of obese climbing should be seen on the same level of a crisis.

Sadly, it will take much more to turn this tide. As bad as things are in the US health-wise, it will magnify exponentially as this younger generation grown up.

Childhood obesity and child diabetes have risen to record levels. This has never happened before. Natural weight loss needs to be elevated to a necessity rather than luxury.

Obesity help is needed now more than ever.

The good news is that I have workout successful applications of natural health and wrote it in the Metabolism Makeover for those that are clinically obese. There are differences in how the weight loss experience will be for the obese.


Obesity Help Weight Loss

The drops in weight for the obese client are very large. Depending on how heavy the client is and how dedicated the client is, there can be successive weekly double-digit drops in weight. 10 to 20 or more pounds a week can occur. It wont happen every week but it can happen at this magnitude.

This will stop dropping at that rate sooner or later, that is fine. The obesity help strategy changes at that point. The diet and exercise will change to keep the changes occurring at a healthy level.


Two Keys for Obesity Help

The key to natural weight loss for obesity help, is to understand two major things for success:

1) It is a mental game and an emotional game. The physical aspect of diet and exercise is not the main thing to focus on. Diet and exercise will be simple and straight forward. But when you are obese, there is a lot of fat that has to be metabolized and you have to have the mental mindset to going for the long haul.

As you lose weight, you WILL experience very EMOTIONAL low points.

At those points the only thing you will want to do it give up. The key is making it through those times because those emotional lows will leave.

That is the interesting thing about this category of weight loss. My client will always come to the realization that the emotions they feel and the food they eat are two completely separate items and do not have to be connected.

2) This is the second thing to know about long-term weight loss and obesity help.

They realize that as their body starts to change and get healthier and healthier, some emotional triggers are still there. Handling those triggers require a new way to understand their relationship to food and their body.

There is always going to be a realization that poor health was a way for the client to not have to experience something in life. They hurt themselves to hurt someone else, to prove someone wrong, to avoid feeling guilt, to make someone else guilty, to be right, etc.

Only those that have gone through it, will know what I am talking about here.


Health vs. Weight

Everything I write about in my book about the technical aspects of natural weight loss is doubly true with the obese clients because the obesity is a result of severe health imbalances and hidden health issues.

Many obese do not even realize they have become diabetic.

So addressing health first will cause very rapid drops in weight. There will be a lot of water loss and a lot of adjustments your nervous system will be making. You will feel out of sorts because you have gotten so used to feeling a certain way. You have also gotten used to a certain way your body moves that is constantly changing.


Clear Milestones Needed

Major weight loss is a mental game. This is why specific and clear milestones are required. By focusing on those specific goals it will be like an anchor or a beacon to anchor yourself to because of the myriad of changes.

But if you keep the consistency and you are following a plan, you will WIN! You will reach your goals. You just need expectations that will not derail you.


New Life Goals

But here is the clincher, when you reach your goals, you HAVE to create new goals for your life. If you don’t do that for obesity help, the chances of falling back into poor habits increase.

You have to keep expanding your life and attaining new goals.

This may be hard to understand unless you have gone through it, but when there is no new game to play the game will be getting fat again.

When you meet your goal, you have to set some goals that are a bit out of reach. Finish a race like a half-marathon, or full marathon, a bike race, climbing a mountain, a dance competition, etc. It should be something that stretches your comfort zone.
