When a woman has polycystic ovarian syndrome, also called PCOS, she will have a hard time losing weight past a certain point. Polycystic Ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is a syndrome where there are cysts that have developed on the ovary. If the cysts rupture, it can be painful. There are two of three things present in this syndrome - anovulation, excess testosterone and one or more cysts on the ovary(ies). There are other symptoms I will list in a future article.
