When a woman has polycystic ovarian syndrome, also called PCOS, she will have a hard time losing weight past a certain point.

If you are not sure if you have this, then you should check to see if you do. It can be a potentially painful experience and also can lead to endometriosis.

It also causes infertility. If you are having difficulty losing weight and also having difficulty getting pregnant then you will want to stay up-to-date on this section of this website.

What Is It?

Polycystic Ovarian syndrome (PCOS) is a syndrome where there are cysts that have developed on the ovary. If the cysts rupture, it can be painful. There are two of three things present in this syndrome - anovulation, excess testosterone and one or more cysts on the ovary(ies).

There are other symptoms I will list in a future article. But the three factors mentioned just now are the three criteria used to define the syndrome.
