When dealing with quick weight loss I always try to educate people as much as possible on my unique method of nutrition and fitness. Education is so important because there are two fundamental problems I need to solve. One is to lose weight, the other is to keep it off. And when the client understands enough about the causes of weight gain or why their body is not metabolising their body fat, they do much much better over the long-term

Quick Weight Loss VS Slow Weight Loss

If a person focuses only on one there there are drawbacks. For most the focuses is on immediate and quick weight loss. The drawbacks here are that it is short term and can also often cause a person to get even fatter, more tired and more sick later on.

If a person only focuses on the later, and if they do it right, they will feel better and have a generally more healthy body, however, the slowness can cause a lot of attrition. People can get discouraged and revert back to old habits. They will tend to lose sight of the overall goals and intentions and the everyday problems, stresses and temptations derail a person.


Best Of Both Worlds

So I developed methods to try and solve both problems. I want to give a quick weight loss plan but also give way for them have enough result over the long-term to stay motivated and on track if they have a lot to lose.

Then there is the situation of when a person reaches their goal weight and stay there. I have found to get a high success rate with this, there needs to be a specific strategy for this as well.


Three Categories

So to create a quick weight loss plan I have found there are three categories:

  1. The person who is doing the wrong things.
  2. The person who is doing all the right things and there is a health imbalance causing the weight problem.
  3. A person with a health imbalance and also doing the wrong things.


Why It Matters

To develop a quick weight loss plan, you want to know where you fall because one quick weight loss plan will not work for another.

A quick weight loss plan for someone who has no health imbalance or metabolic imbalance yet cannot lose weight can be very easily resolved. They can get .5 - 2 lbs a day depending on how they do it. All their health indexes such as resting heart rate, ldl cholesterol, visceral fat, resting metabolic rate, arterial plaque ALL reduce DRAMATICALLY.

For the second category their body in some way, is set like a broken thermostat. Their metabolism will not respond to diet and exercise. They can eat the most fat burning foods and exercise exactly like they should but their nervous system will CHANGE to counter act it.

For this category, they need a different set of strategies they can use based on their lifestyle and circumstances. With these strategies, you will lose .5 to 1 pound a day and get healthier.

For the third category, you need to find out if you are really category 1 or 2. There are different ways of doing this.

The most obvious is to do all the right things and see what happens. There are also other ways of finding out. For example, if a person was thin and never had weight problems and then gradually gained a lot of weight and not cannot control it. Or there is a a person who was thin and had no problem controlling body fat and then there was a traumatic physical event such as an accident, surgery, exposure to radiation, etc. Then after that the body was never the same. Or there is the person that was always "the round one" or always the "heavy one." Each of these help me discern the category they are in.
