re: steamed vegetables

Your book, which is GREAT and my wife and I are into the first week of detox, speaks only of raw and cooked vegetables. Would steamed vegetables be o.k.?
Thank you for the question. When I talk about raw I am referring to completely uncooked in any way. No heat. I also try to encourage blending it or juicing it and sipping that all day.
I am putting that step in there to give the digestive tract a break and a rest. The hump is about three days. After which a person can start to feel very good.
I also encourage a person to go longer if the body starts to change shape and lose weight. You can even do it until you see a plateau in body measurements then move to the next phase.
