Starting a Raw Food Diet For Weight Loss
"Knowing This Information Can Make Your Raw Food Diet For Weight Loss More Effective" Chose the Right Foods First The first thing to know about this is that just because a food is raw does not mean it will cause weight loss. There is a hierarchy of raw foods that cause weight loss. Foods that are raw, organic and have a high content of water will cause weight loss. On page, “Moisture Index.” I have a list that shows the different foods listed in order of water content. If you chose the one’s with a 90 - 100% Moisture Level then that is better. Now that you know what foods to chose, let’s look at how you can phase in your raw food diet for weight loss. Schedule Your Eating The most effective way I have found to help clients phase in a raw food diet for weight loss is to first make their eating schedule regular. Create a schedule of 3 meals a day and 3 snacks a day. Get that stable and consistent. If that is already done then you do the next step. Get the right Mindset Sometimes the thought of being on a raw food diet seems complex and overwhelming. I often tell a client, that if they imagine their three meals a day and have a large salad for those meals. Simple and understandable. Sooner or later you will see how simple it was after all. Create Step-At-A-Time Plan But even then, it can be overwhelming for a person to think that they are going to not have the foods they want. This is what I tell them to do: First I tell them to define why they are doing this diet. What they are trying to gain out of it should be bigger than what Make one meal a raw meal. Get that stable. Then make another meal raw. Then do another. Just do it one step at a time you will be fine. Another thing you can do is just have all your meals small meals but with a large salad that contains the foods I mentioned. Make the salad the main meal and the other stuff the side dish. Then one-by-one, eliminate the side dishes. If you get hungry in between the meals, consume more fruits and vegetables. There is nothing really complex about it. You are just replacing cooked and processed foods with salads. Go Organic After getting comfortable with how to do your grocery shopping, preparing and storing you can start to study different dressings to use. Different ways to prepare the foods so it is easier and tastier and more fun. Then you can really get into making sure that everything is organic. When raw foods are not organic you are still consuming toxic chemicals. You can read about it here: Lose Weight With Detox. But as you can see, starting a raw food diet for weight loss is just a matter or breaking it down and doing it step-by-step. I encourage you to do what works. If it is working for you then do it.
