suggestions appreciated

by Annetta Williams
(Oregon)

I've been a vegetarian all my life (57 yrs). A yr ago I was Dx'd with adrenal fatigue, imbalanced neurotransmitters, hypothyroidism, low progesterone, gluten intolerance, dairy intolerance, hypoglycemia, and I can't seem to stay asleep for more than 5 hrs/night I have very little energy and have been told to nap during the day to make up for the sleep I don't get at night. I'm supposed to have 5 small meals/day with 15 gm protein/meal. I'm to stay away from gluten, soy (tofu), sugar....am to have 2 eggs/day and am allowed rice protein for a protein source, and am to limit the amt of rice I eat otherwise.

I know what I'm to do, but eating bean every day is really getting old and I find it hard to stick to a very simple, boring diet. My mother has basically the same challenges and same boring diet.

Any suggestions?

After 8 months you need to see a change. 8 months is too long to be doing something without any change or result.

I think you should contact me directly to get to the root of it.

haven't given up hope...
by: Annetta

I am taking a list of supplements 'as long as my arm', so to speak, along with progesterone cream and estriol cream. The supplements are all as recommended by my DO and/or are in conjunction with my neurotransmitter balancing program. It has been over 8 months and seems like things are not getting any better.

Hi Anetta,

Thank you for your post.

Adrenal fatigue is how I got into all that I do now. I truly understand how difficult it is and how it can feel like you are a prisoner in your own body.

Well what you are doing is the right thing. It is the right basic diet.

There is much more that you can do though. In terms of supplements, handling other sources of adrenal stress that are internally caused, and following a program to get the body to act "normally" again. This meaning that you should not have to eat in such a restrictive way for this reason in order to be free of symptoms.

Now that you have conquered the diet part of dealing with adrenal fatigue, my suggestion is to get on a program to deal with recovering and restoring your adrenals.

I don't know if you got my book. In my book I lay out for you how to recover your adrenals. My update to the book expands on this greatly. I list the steps clearer and add supplements that help restore the adrenals. All purchasers of my book will get free updates and new editions emailed to them.

As for the "imbalanced neurotransmitters, hypothyroidism, low progesterone, gluten intolerance, dairy intolerance, hypoglycemia, and I can't seem to stay asleep for more than 5 hrs/night I have very little energy and have been told to nap during the day to make up for the sleep I don't get at night."

Each one of these are connected to adrenals. Fix the adrenals and the rest will vanish if not improve. Your adrenals are what fight intolerances. Trying to fix intolerances with adrenal fatigue is like trying to fix a car that wont run by replacing a tire when it has no gasoline in it.
