Welcome to the weight loss myths page. What is a myth? a myth is defined by Encarta Dictionary as a "false belief: a widely held but mistaken belief". Here is a list of that exist and are in vogue today. Each of these, if followed, will at best limit your health and weight loss efforts. The entire site is devoted to dispelling myths related to weight loss and showing you true reasons for successful and unsuccessful weight loss. Here is the first one. It is the question I am asked the most and the question I see most in weight loss forums. The myth about calories and monitoring total calorie intake to lose weight.
